LENT IS BENT

OK, shrove Tuesday's passed (bit late this year, I thought).

I very rarely have pancakes during the rest of the year... and so, I decided to go a bit full hog....

Had them at la Cookieshake in the city with some coursemates... very nice they were too... A nice apetiser...! :D Had LOTS of chocolate and ice cream on them too... yummy... (only £2.50 as well. Bargin, I thought).

Anyway, cut to 8pm Tuesday 24th February...

My first pancake was a blob on the floor - if you don't believe me... check out the photo above...

And, i've also decided to give up sex and chocolate for lent... boo! why did i decide that!?

Well, I need to finish eating the Tunnocks Chocolate Teacakes as well... So I reckon after that... i give up chocolate :D

The sex thing though... perhaps i'm being a little too ambitious... Perhaps I should start a video diary... See how I am after the 39th night!! LOL!

It's the Brits tonight...

Bit of a schmaz-fest though innit.... Awards ceremonies are always the same. Guess you have to be there to get the full-on atmosphere.

But still - noone really worthy of an award is given one! Ugh! And they ALWAYS nominate some random singer or band that you've never heard of! Or, a band that's been away for soooo long! But - it'd be good to have them in for good measure... i.e. Iron Maiden! lol.

Anyway.... Kings of Leon and Girls Aloud were good though!!

Vomit for Valentines...

Well, hope all the couples are proper loved up and having a nice time... But, please spare a thought for those less fortunate! :)

I don't wanna sound winey, (hmm... wine, yum!) but im really getting sick of the single lark now!

It's been a couple of days since I 'blooogggged'....

Think I'm getting the hang of it now though! yay!

The snow's back in Nottingham... which made me all excited after going to the gym (yes, the gym!) and I wanted to make a snowman later... As i haven't made one for ages...! Must've been in my teens if not younger... But guess what, after the gym, the settling snow turned to slush... which, in turn... made the rest of it go mushy! Boo!

Guess I'll have to wait til next time it snow like last Monday to get my carrots and twigs for arms and a nose...

Anyway... last night, got a bit silly... Have to confess... I love British innuendo, and it seems as if it's kind of grown over the years...

I'm sure most of you have seen the infamous Rainbow video on the Tube of You. Ya know, the one about balls and twanging... Were the producers having a silly day when they decided to make this (what looks like) an innocent children's show into a full-on, innuendo, gay-fest!

Mashed Potatoes!

This post is an amazing confessionary piece...! :)

Sitting in a cafe is more than just for drinking coffee... it's for networking and getting your name about/seeing who else is about...

I'm a freelance singer and according to my agent's website, I'm listed alongside none other than world famous Children's duo extraordinaire Bodger and Badger...

It's a bit exciting - reckon we're gunna invite him round for some mashed potatoes....

Birthdays...? Yeeahh... Detox...? Naaaah........

I turned 22 on Sunday.

And, since I'm not a complete stick in the mud. I had a few ceeeeeeelebrations!! :D It began on Thursday (if I'm being honest...)...

This was the post-Media Law exam, chill out session which began about 5 a la Orange Tree and ended with dinner in Antalya kebabs! (niiiice!)... Thanks to Michelle, Chrissy and Sarah for that amazing idea...

Anyhoo - Friday rolls round... The big night out in Nottingham... And I decide I'm definitely going on a detox after the weekends out. Particularly after Saturday night too...

Obviously - I couldn't not have a celebration for my birthday eh??

Anyway, it's now Monday... And it seems I'm going to have to shelve the detox until next week... An old friend's back in town on Tuesday and four of my work mates've decided they're all going to have birthday's around mine - so I've got ANOTHER birthday this Friday coming....

Bugger - does that mean I've got to buy three other birthday cards too.....!
